ABOUT ME

Texas based painter in the Classical Realist tradition, Roby Hood has practiced his craft professionally since 2010.  A graduate of the Florence Academy of Art, Roby works with oils, charcoal, graphite, and pastels to create beautiful works of art that are poetic, meaningful, and timeless.  In most cases, Roby paints and draws from life but in all cases, he uses the same traditional methods and materials used since the Renaissance.  So, one can always be sure that a work of art by Roby Hood is of the highest quality.
